After much thought, I have decided to drop out of all discussion pertaining to scripture for a while. I don't care to come off as a jerk in biblical-related posts, and I don't see much point to biblical discussion via this medium. Many posters (myself included) seem to be trying to convince/convert/coerce others into their way of thinking (not really our jobs, anyway), and since the majority of those participating in this blog system are very like-minded scripturally, biblical discussion runs the risk of becoming a slam fest - which I would hope is something that nobody wants. Perhaps I'll rejoin the discussion at a later point. For now, I'll stick to less important topics. It's not you, it's me.
