I stumbled across this in an e-mail. Just wondering what you think of her remarks:
Kate Hudson says, "I respect women who busted their butts to pave the way for our generation, but I think we've done that, and we're moving into new places."
Hudson doesn't mince words in her rejection of the women's movement. "I'm not a feminist, I'm just not. Women are domestic creatures. We take care of people, we nurture, we are protectors."
All women? Is that universal?
Posted by: JosiahQ at September 18, 2003 12:08 PMIt's surprising to hear something like that from an actress. Maybe it's not a "universal" truth for "all women" as Josiah wonders, but I think there's something to it.
