FUEL TV OUT OF FUEL

According to Barry Courter's column in the Times Free Press, Chris Braly and the rest of the gang at Fuel TV are closing shop. I could probably guess why....
The same reason I've lost interest in local TV...
No $$$...

Supposedly, the show will be transforming into something else. Who knows? I would say "why bother" unless more people are going to see it. I've also never thought there was much of a tv audience for local bands, especially for a show that aired when everybody was out watching local bands. But two years ain't bad, and Chris has always been great to us at OTOH, so we wish him the best.

We toyed with the idea of buying airtime on WB 53, right after Fuel went down to a half hour, but ultimately decided against it. Why rush back onto the air when nobody would notice if we were on or not on Fox? A lack of $$$, time, and resources killed me, and all the members of the show, and I can only guess it killed Fuel TV, too...

And with that said, the members of OTOH are stirring about, preparing to bring Chattown something...uh...well... funny. Stay posted to thie site for more info...

The new show, called Rock Theatre, will launch in October, and we would like to air some funny stuff from the OTOH or FACES troupe, if you guys are willing. The new show will feature movies, television spoofs, filmmakers, and more, and will NOT Be geared to strictly a local audience. We want to thank all of the bands involved in Fuel TV and their participation will be missed on the new show. Please contact me Bill if you guys are willing to participate. We'll be on at midnight, right after Mad TV on Fox in 4 states, so I think the audience size increases by about 35% with the new show. We are only commiting to 13 episodes, so let me know asap!

Fuel TV Rocks! It brings some real, true athletes to our livingrooms; who posess raw hardcore talent that even the multi-million dollar crybaby ballplayers couldn't dream of doing. Dear Fuel TV,
Say it ain't so. I just recently got Fuel Tv on my cable network. I love watching all the Exetreme sports you show. I am a twenty year skateboarder and ten year surfer. I finally get a channel that is directed to my demograghic, and now you guys are wrapping it up. As guess that is expected. Nothing good can stay. I have waited far too long for a channel with my taste in mind, and it has to go. That my friends is the true meaning of the word BOGUS! What can I do to help keep this channel on the air. Please let me now. Since the poular culture doesn't want to help. We as alternatives sports atheletes and enthusist need to stick together to overcome the oppersion of less talented atheletes and their boring sports (ie., football, baseball, basketball, and especially those stupid looking guys in their retarded pants--(golf)! I have a dream that all sports will be treated equally, that a board sports athelete can walk hand in hand with a softball athelete on so on and so forth. I have seen the promise land. Dear Natinal broadcasting channels please make it possible to watch exetreme sports on a daily bases free at last, free at last, oh God almighty, free at last!!

where can i get info on the designers/artists that do the intros and fuel tv commercials.
you know, 1 of 100 and it'll be some name of a guy who did the clip. Like "Super Skate", was one of them and it had a guy skating and the tracers following his hands and the board. if you have any info please e mail me @ ronin@happ-e.com.

why are yall guys closing down, man you know if you would advertise the show on different channels more people would tune in. hold in there as long as you can.

dear fuel TV: your network is the best!! surfing,
skating, rock music, great cinematography make this the best network. i record concrete wave,
360, longboard tv for my son, who doesn't get
this network. please stay on direct tv and don't
leave..this is a unique network better than mtv.

Fuel Tv is Awesome! please say that this information is not all true and that the network will still keep showing the best that the extreme sports world has to offer.I feel strongly that this channel shows the good side of extreme sports and not the bad which the media hyperfocuses on so violently.
