Talking to old friends is cool.
I talked to Tim Reider via IM tonight. I've known Tim since, uh, the eighties?
We went to "high school" together, and never see each other because he is in the air force, and does top-secret stuff, like, uh....blogging....
When we were in high school (Daniel Hand - Madison, CT), we taped ourselves doing weird stuff - mostly making fake commercials. One for "Polkaholics Anonymous" was kinda funny. "Sandy Beach" toilet paper was another. Think toilet paper made from sandpaper.
So, now I have all these old "funny" cassette tapes that are REALLY weird to listen to. Try listening to yourself from 12-13 years ago. Jot down the slang and catchphrases you used to use. Quite illuminating. I'll try to post an MP3 of "Polkaholics" in a few days...
