Apt analogy for Twitter

Wasn't sure where he was going with this, but I think he nailed it. Check out the article by Steve Bryant.
Google Watch - Today in Stupid - Twitter Is Dodgeball, but Boring

Of all the masturbatory ego-fluffers on the Web, nothing chafes me worse than Twitter.

Well, at least I'm just a blogger, so I'm only half as lame.

I dunno, I never tried a lot of things that I'm sure I hate. Take house-cleaning.

Oh and I forgot to say that the "hater" who wrote the article had never used the service; at least he said he's going to try it.

Kinda hard to write a review of a service you've never used.

"Twitter hate. It's the new black."

Actually, all Twitter is is a better version of Dodgeball that's easier to use and more quickly adopted. If you have a group of friends that you want to keep in touch with, it's a great and easy way to do it. The thing that makes people "mad" is the stupid stuff people put on it.

Somehow, I am proud that I have absolutely no idea what Twitter is.

It sounds like dodgeball. But boring. :)
