I found this article really disturbing. Thank you Megs for pointing it out. And for your question, What does the Bible say about this? About a gay high school, asks Dale? No, about being gay.
I would say the Bible condemns homosexual sex, as it does with certain heterosexual sex, both pre- and extra- marital--marital is still OK. So how about gay marriages? Mark 10:7 "A man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife." But what about this verse? 1 Cor 6:9 - "Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind."
What's wrong with being effeminate? I used to argue that one could not be born gay, but now I'm starting to concede that one could be born extra macho or even effeminate. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with that to me. What did effeminate mean to Paul? Cross-dressing? Is being effeminate being gay?
Does God condemn the homosexual lifestyle, in addition to commiting homosexual sex? Signs point to yes.
Allow me to welcome to you the world of nerd-dom, er, I mean, 'online journalism'. And don't think of yourself as just another 2 bit online street preacher, but rather a pioneer. I'm looking forward to linking to your upcoming, brilliant BLOGS.
