What's the deal with college students thinking empty alcohol bottles are a good decoration?
It's not a trophy. It's garbage.
Ok look, I quit college so I don't run with that crowd. I only have one bottle I've saved. It's a Saint Brendan's irish cream liqueur bottle that just looks really cool. It was a Christmas present. It's next to my Metallica S&M; DVD and the grotesque demons on the front of the Diablo video game box. This is all overlooked by a small japanese good luck idol on top of my computer with my dogbert "is it my imagination or am I getting sexier everyday?" cube calendar...from 2001. Now that is poor decoration perhaps, but very spirited. Somewhere near it is a spanish-english dictionary that the love of my early life gave me as an inside joke. Oh and there's that weird electrical wire glass cap paper weight. HA this is pretty bad. But it all means something to me. Wine, women, and song. At least it proves I have my priorities in line.
Posted by: Gray at January 12, 2004 12:13 AMWell...I must admit that in my early college days, I had a thing for Coke cans. Don't ask. I don't know why. I can appreciate now my roommate's consternation with it... ;-D
Come on Christin, we've all seen the famous 12' wall of Natty Lite cans in your bathroom. Don't tell me you got rid of those!
Posted by: Patrick at January 13, 2004 11:10 AMNatty Lite is more than a decoration...it's art.
Posted by: Christin at January 14, 2004 08:03 AMI might consider an empty bottle of Tequila a trophy... of course, that could just be because I can't hold my liquor.
