Okay, so he's no Dell Dude, but I did see second place Survivor Clay Jordan at Dillard's yesterday. I would say something about how he was talking really loudly on his cell phone and seemed kind of irritated with whoever he was talking to, but since he seems like the kind of guy who would Google his name to see who's talking about him, I won't say all that stuff.

:)
Posted by: JosiahQ at December 2, 2003 12:52 PMYour brush with a minor celebrity if way better than mine. And don't tell me you've never googled your own name! :)
Posted by: andy at December 2, 2003 02:52 PMOkay, I'll admit I've Googled my name before, but there's a difference (at least in my mind) between a regular, average, non-famous person like myself wondering if anyone has anything to say about me and a somewhat famous person doing the same thing. I guess it's kind of vain either way.
Posted by: Christin at December 2, 2003 03:32 PMYep. But everyone has done it at least once... I know this. And, yes, I guess there is a difference like you said. I did it once and got back a link to a really embarrassing published letter I wrote to the editor of The Daily Beacon, the school paper of the University of Tennessee. I've tried not to do it since.
Posted by: andy at December 2, 2003 05:02 PMI've Googled myself and some of my friends before, not so much looking for the actual Aaron Booth, but more to find out what other people with my name are doing.
Posted by: the booth at December 2, 2003 08:25 PMHow about that terrible commercial he did for Dr. Broussard?
It's like he was making up his lines on the spot, and what is that freakish Doctor doing at the beginning of the commercial? It's just like he's standing there staring into space.
I almost ran over him a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Broussard that is. He was jogging over by the church and he ran out between two parked cars.
I'll bet YOU'VE never almost killed a guy who's on the back of every phone book.
Posted by: Duane at December 3, 2003 04:12 PMWell, I may not have almost killed a 'famous' person, but a famous person almost killed ME once. My sister and I were at the gas station and I almost got run over by some maniac. I was not frightened by this though b/c I was too busy at marveling over the fact that it was non other than Sir Ian Mckellen. (Ok so it wasn't the REAL Ian, but he sure looked like him.)
I've never Googled myself. I've never Googled anything. I guess I'm just not 'in w/ the crowd'.
Posted by: Took at December 3, 2003 09:46 PMI almost crashed into Olympic triathlete Dan O'Brien at a four-way stop a few years ago. That should count for something.
Posted by: Christin at December 4, 2003 08:06 AMHey, apparently even Bill Clinton has googled his own name.
Posted by: andy at December 12, 2003 03:33 AMHillarious article!
