Time for Another Round of: Best Things Since Sliced Bread/Worst Things Since Chopped Liver

BEST THINGS SINCE SLICED BREAD

*Having a car that always works (so far!)
*Having sick days available when I need them
*Technology that allows me to keep in touch with friends near and far
*Sugar-free kool-aid
*Being friends with my siblings

WORST THINGS SINCE CHOPPED LIVER

*Having to use sick days
*Having a broken washer/dryer for weeks at a time
*The Yankees
*West Monroe water
*Having your proverbial parade rained on

Friends with siblings...I've found this to be true myself. I used to fight with my brother and sister non-stop(unless someone else was fighting them or talking bad aboutthem, then I was on their side), but now, we love to be around one another and can talk about pretty much anything. I miss them when they aren't around(which is often) and feel at ease around them...like you do with friends, only more.

Yes the Yankees are indeed worse than chopped liver. How was your trip back to Nagagdoces ( did I spell that right?) to see your mom and dad?

instead of 'west monroe water,' why not 'louisiana?' but then i guess it was around prior to chopped liver...or was it?

I had a great time in Nacogdoches, Tom. I got to hang out with a lot of people that I don't see often enough. Thanks for asking.

DP: West Monroe water is even worse than most other Louisiana water. It was actually brown earlier this week.

wow. brown is bad. always. but im no stranger to brown water. every once in awhile i see it in my own tub at covenant. yay.

Our water almost always comes out brown or tan. When we give Bailey a bath we sort of dip her in it just to get her wet, then snatch her out before she comes out dirtier than she went in.

I always have to warn people not to drink the tap water when they're over. I wouldn't even drink it even if we had a good filter on it.

Nothing can make me drink that water! One of my friends always tells me I waste so much money on bottled water, but no filter will make that stuff drinkable.
