Earlier today, I was discussing creation/evolution theories with someone, and I brought up the whole "created with the appearance of age" thing. You see, it's sort of like The Waffle House: even if it's brand new, it looks like it's been around forever. The color scheme and the waitresses look like they've been there since the 70's and they somehow import that smell of greasy food and cigarette smoke. Of course, with the earth, we're dealing with a much larger scale.
