So, I'm taking this continuing education class out at dingy old ULM. I originally wanted to take "Principles of Banking," but not enough people enrolled, so I ended up in "Law and Banking" (or "Law and Baking" or "Lawn Banking," as I said when I had a cold) instead. It's supposed to be a 10 week class that meets once a week for three hours.
I was expecting a little bit of a challenge, but it's turning out to be the easiest class I've had since high school. So far, we've never had a class longer than and hour and a half (and that was only because the teacher was half an hour late). Class has been cancelled twice. We have a mid-term tonight and he told us everything that will be on the test. I'll probably spend more time driving out to ULM than I'll spend in class tonight.
Part of me is happy that the class is so easy, but the other part of me is dissappointed by the lack of challenge. I guess I am learning a few things, but it's nothing I couldn't have learned by reading the text book alone. Oh, well. It's the first class I've ever taken where I get 50 bucks if I get an A, and 50 bucks is.....well, 50 bucks.
