2004 is going to go down in history as the year of the natural disaster. Four hurricanes and counting, there was just a 5.9 earthquake in California (which apparently doesn't have much damage), and Mount St. Helens is threatening to erupt. Seems that the only disaster that's been avoided this year was summer wildfires.
Now, the question is, how long until the Jack Van Impe types start fitting it in with Bible prophecy to scare us all into thinking the end of the world is coming? (my personal favorite in that category is Grant Jeffrey who used to come to my old church and tie every Cold War related event into Revelation)
