but swaps are a funny thing. large financial swaps that involve different currencies and intrest rate floors and ceilings have terms like "counter-party risk"; it's just a bunch of mumbo jumbo to say maybe the other guy won't deliver, and that risk is there no matter what you're dealing in. no hedging allowed, let the risk taking begin!
