I know there are spam comment blockers that you can put on your blog, but I don't know how to do it. Can somebody talk me through it? As big a fan of lipitor as you guys know that I am, I will not be a big advertising board.
Take that ye vile spammers.

Posted by: jeremy at May 24, 2004 04:03 AMWe block like, 95% of all comment spam, seriously, you should see the logs. The bastards try all the time. Occasionally one slips through. Best thing to do when that happens is stay calm, shoot me an e-mail with a link to the entry with the spam in it. I'll immediately add it to the blacklist and de-spam all of chattablogs killing all comments with that particular spam in it.
Last night this lipitor bastard nailed all the terrablogs domains, for example, in one swoop I "de-spammed" (i.e. deleted and rebuilt) 72 lipitor spam comments, of course, I did it with one click of a button. MT Blacklist rocks.
