Who's the jerk in charge of the cost of gas these days?

Posted by: Aunt Vickie at March 10, 2004 09:38 AMI totally agree .. what bugs me is how they base gas prices on things ... here in indiana people raised serious hell as to why it changes on a dialy basis ..
what they say causes the changes is temps outside .. when its warmer out prices go up cause gas is used more. If a line breaks .. lost gas prices go up. The markets also cause it to change.
theres that and alot more that cause it .. its gotten to the point where its a excuse if you look at gas they have reason to change it .. its sick
Posted by: matt_31 at March 10, 2004 07:01 PMWell, if you read carefully for every gallon of gas that you pump nearly 60 cents goes in the way of taxes so you tell me??? The rest is profit for the fuel oil companies. When you round off and tell the clerk that you want for example $8.00 worth of gas ever notice how the pump always stops at .82 whatever the dollar amount you are getting unless you use a debt/credit card?
