I've seen a mere 23% of the country. I better get cracking! (This is pirated from Jeannette, who, by the way, is ridiculously well traveled!)

Only thanks to a wonderful institution called choir tour. I've been on 8 gruelling choir tours and seen almost the entire country on them. And my family not deciding whether to live in Iowa or Pennsylvania...and when you live in SE Penn, you may as well live in NJ, Del, and Maryland, too, with NY and VA in your backyard. Then I went to college outside of Chattanooga, TN...that pretty much adds in all of Appalachia. Then I moved to Louisiana, add Deep South and Texas. All those factors combined to being ridiculously well-traveled :-) BUT I don't have any roots! I don't have a hometown. I don't have a house I grew up in. Oh well...advantages to both. When it comes down to it, though, I'm definitely a Yankee chick. ;-)
Posted by: Jeannette at February 1, 2004 05:31 PMYou know, I had the funniest dream. I dreamed that I came to visit you out of the blue one day in Baton Rouge. I hope your new house is as cool as it was in my dream. :-)
