I really want to see this movie Underworld that's coming out Friday. Come on, werewolves and vampires? How awesome could that be? I am rooting for the vampires, myself.

Posted by: Shannon at September 19, 2003 10:00 AMI saw the movie on its opening night (Friday). I've not read the comic books (Isn't "Underworld" based on a comic book?), but I found the movie to be good entertainment.
Victor, the elder vampire, was really cool; and I'm going to go ahead and say it: he could have beaten that character that Scott Speedman becomes near the end of the film. Victor had that "thing" on the ropes.
Surely there will be a sequel in the works; the movie ending sure set up one.
Oh, and Kate Beckinsale in leather was hot. I'll go ahead and say that, too.
