Well, my last day at Applebees will be May 10. I'm thrilled. I feel like a great weight has been lifted.
I got a call today from the Bucks County Intermediate Unit (they provide tutoring and all kinds of stuff for the surrounding school districts) about a few jobs that I applied for and I'm interviewing this coming Wednesday at 1:30. I hope that goes well. One job is an audio/visual position - taking care of equipment setting up for classes/presentations/meetings and such and I would guess educating staff members on a/v and such. The other job is a tech support position - dealing with a piece of software that they use - database intensive which is my cup of tea.
Well I've been waffling about whether or not to quit my job for so long now. The ills of my job outweigh the goods... except for paying the bills.
I'm so stressed out about going to work tonight that I just threw up.
The time has come.
I started a journal @ livejournal. Unfortunately my journal and my blog aren't synced at the moment and I've found no way to do such so my plan is to program some software to do so. More details for my reasoning is in my first journal entry over there. On further thought I'm not sure what all of this will achieve... well I do have some idea what it might lead to in the future but I'll talk about that later.
