I've been tooling around on a Honda Rebel 250 (this pic is a brand new one and the one I'm riding is an '87. Slightly different. Mine looks a bit more like a classic cruiser style.) Don't get me wrong, I'm having a ball but the bike is just way too small. I kind of look like a gorilla riding a bicycle on this thing. The other thing I really don't like is that the engine is so small. If you've never ridden a bike before it's kind of like driving in a tiny econo car. When you're a big guy you start to get muscle cramps because you're a little scrunched and when you're going about 60 and you need a bit more juice you can crank the throttle all you want but it just doesn't have anything more. It's actually kind of dangerous with all those asshole drivers out there. Sometimes you need a little more juice right now to get out of a tight situation but if you lay on it on my bike it slowly winds up to speed instead of jumping.
Oh well hopefully someday soon I'll be able ot afford a real bike (List is in ascending order from pretty damn cool to i would sell my right testicle for one of these (and lastly ok but much more affordable)):
Harley-Davidson Motorcycles
Indian Motorcycles
Vengeance Motorcycles
West Coast Choppers
Orange County Choppers
Money wise, though, my next purchase will hopefully be a Honda VTX 1800
