Posted by Clifton at October 3, 2005 03:27 PM | TrackBackI still think the CCEL (http://www.ccel.org) is still the best place for Patristic texts on the Internet, even if they are only available in stilted, 19th Century translations. Thankfully between Catholic University of America Press, Paulist Press, and St. Vladimir's Seminary Press, most of those works can now be found in updated form with oftentimes better critical editions of the original language to work with. The downside to those is, of course, that you have to actually pay for them (boo!) and that they haven't been pulled together in a nice, neat package. Also, certain texts such as Chrysostom's homilies on Romans (which are amazing!) haven't been successfully retranslated.
