They successfully attached all the organs (liver, pancreas, stomach, small intestine, and bile duct) yesterday, Saturday, but they encountered some bleeding that they couldn't get under control, so they stopped the surgery and put Delane in ICU to stabilize his vital signs and administer blood. Apparently, they intended to stop the surgery after attaching the organs yesterday anyway, as they want to go in and clean up some of the infection Delane has in his abdominal cavity. They will put Delane back in surgery today to attempt to stop the internal bleeding and clean up the infection.
Your continued prayers are coveted. O Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercessions of the Theotokos, St. John the Wonderworker, and all your saints, in your mercy bring healing and wholeness to Delane.
