Right now, in the "Wearables w/a message" section of the Planned Parenthood Federation of American online webstore you can get your "I Had An Abortion" T-shirts.

And under the "Great Holiday Gifts" section you can get your "Choice on Earth" Unisex t-shirt.
So: you can proudly declare in public, for about $15, that you killed your baby in the womb.
Or: you can blaspheme the message of Christ during the Nativity Feast (or whenever you want), for about $10.
Is this anything?

Trying to keep my chin up....thank God for the real message of Christmas: hope.
No. Stupid people come, stupid people go. I am too concerned about my own salvation to watch the parade of the stupids.

It would be no different than "I shot a guy in Iraq."
Posted by: AngloBaptist at July 27, 2004 10:01 PMI read on another blog the idea of men wearing t shirts too. He gives a few examples, but how about "I got a girl I barely know pregnant, and I paid for half of the abortion." Seriously, the poster makes a great point about men's responsiblity in this. Why should women bear the stigma alone? (http://hugoboy.typepad.com - a progressive pro-life Mennonite blogger who teaches gender studies - interesting guy)
That said, maybe we do need to de-stigmatize it but in the sense that women can be free to speak about their experience and find healing. I think the work the women at Project Rachel do is wonderful (Clifton has a link to it).
