In Other News . . .

Let it be known throughout all the blog-o-verse that Clifton has rejected the Karl-esy (and should it not also be the Huw-esy?) of beardlessness. He has begun to join the ranks of the orthodox--that is to say, the bearded ones, such as this faithful gentleman. Clifton hopes to stay away from the "the wave-tossed ones," who waver between opinions.

Formerly, Clifton was orthodox from his anniversary date till Pascha, resuming his Karl-esy/Huw-esy during the warmer spring and summer months. But given the witness of the orthodox bearded ones, he may permanently relent of his faithless (hairless) springtime/summer day ways.

[Update: Hmm. The terminology for this hairless heresy is becoming less fluid. Apparently one may refer to it as "Karlism." I think "Huw-esy" works as well. Still there's been no canonical determination from the ESOB (Ecuemenical Synod of Orthodox Bloggers) as to the correct terminology.]
