It has been a while since I posted anything. And I still don't have much to say. Work has been crazy. I spent most of last week in Columbia, SC and I was supposed to spend most of this week there as well. I say supposed to because it is still up in the air. We are waiting for several things to happen before it would be worth my going and those things haven't happened. So I wait. At any moment I could get a call and they might tell me that I need to go ahead and drive down there (5-6 hours away). I really don't like going, but waiting and not knowing whether or not I am going is even worse.
This coming Saturday, at 6:00am, my wife and I fly out of Atlanta heading for San Francisco for a vacation. We will be staying with my wife's family and are hoping to spend a couple of days in Yosimite. We will be there for about 10 days and then we will return to God's country, the south. So, I haven't posted much lately and I am probably not going to be posting much in the near future.
So as my parting thought for today I leave you a link for your viewing pleasure. I know that this has kept me going while working in the cubicle farm. If only I could be the Office Linebacker...
I thought that I would just throw a quick post up here because I haven't posted for a couple of days. I have been really busy the last few days with work and helping Josiah get the Bagpipe Online page up and working. I probably won't be posting for a little while after this one either. I found out yesterday that I am going to have to go to Columbia, SC for a week for work. And there is a possibility that I might have to go back the week after that. I really don't want to go for several reasons. I don't want spend that much time away from my wife, I don't really enjoy the work that I am going to be doing down there and I don't really have a great desire to spend a week by myself living out of a hotel. So basically I'm not looking forward to it. But such is life. I really can't complain because at least I haven't been fired for no reason and God has been very good to me through my job.
So all that being said, I leave you with this for your browsing pleasure.
A very cool Honda commercial:
Read about it here, and download a Macromedia Flash executable of the commercial here
As I reported earlier William Ligue Jr., whose attack of Chicago White Sox first base coach, Tom Gamboa resulted in a very light penalty is allowed to return to White Sox games. In fact Ligue has returned to watch a game and Inside Edition, that bastion of journalistic integrity (note thick sarcasm), went along to report on it. The story will air this Tuesday.
This just upsets me all around. I'm annoyed that Ligue is even allowed back in the stadium where he obviously couldn't control himself. I'm pissed off that Inside Edition would follow him around and make him a celebrity because of his stupidity. It just makes me sick.
