As you can probably tell I've been tinkering a little more with my blog. I'm a little obsessive so I'm sure that the tinkering will continue. Just keep watching for updates.
In other news, yesterday I got more hits on my blog than any other day since I started tracking statistics. What's odd about this is that I didn't even make a new entry yesterday. Why, you might ask, would anyone visit this blog unless they saw on Chattablogs that I had posted a new entry? Well, it appears from looking at the referrers to my site that there are a lot of people looking for audio and video of Ozzy Osbourne singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" and my blog ranks pretty high when you search for such things. So if you are here to find out about Ozzy Osbourne singing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" then go here and don't be afraid to leave a comment. [Yes that was a shameless attempt to get more hits on my blog].
Posted by bhuffine at August 21, 2003 11:25 AM | TrackBackI wouldn't be surprised if one day Google added a filter to their mysterious algorithms that lowers the ranking of pages with phrases like "shameless attempt/plug...hits." The Googlebot knows all and sees all, and it's tricksy.
