long time no post

Yes yes, this is for those avid readers who do not exist. :)

I've been doing a few things lately, other than working that is. Yeah, not much is done outside of work. It sadens me how much work has taken over my life. I went to the renaissance festival with Jonathan and Yara which was a lot of fun. I bought Matt an ocarina with a triforce on it. It was cute. I bought a parasol with a dragon on it to match our bedroom a bit. I had planned on when we finially moved out to decorate our room with a kind of asian feel. Zen type of stuff. I've been reading about orthodox christianity. Both books a friend let me borrow. One of which being God's Revelation to the Human Heart by Seraphim Rose. I actually pretty much just finished that one. It is pretty short being just a lecture he gave. The other one is The Faith: Understanding Orthodox Christianity : An Orthodox Catechism by Clark Carlton. I haven't actually started that one yet, but I'm about to. Of course if I can't get into this one like I did with Seraphim's then I will start on Eragon by Christopher Paolini. Erin tells me it is very good. I had almost forgotten I had it. Matt reminded me last night when I was searching BAM for Doctor Who books (which for some reason BAM doesn't sell).

Anyway, I have gone off course, haven't I? Let's see, what else is there? Oh, of course! The wedding! It is a year from next month, so I have started planning (kind of). I have already asked Paula to be a bride's maid. I've kind of asked Kristan to be one, though I know she's been going through bride's maid hell right now with the wedding she's in this month. I never thought her and I would become such great friends. Top one on my list is Nicole, who I've yet to ask because I want to ask her face to face. We've been friends for forever and a day, and pretty much the best of friends, so I was going to ask if she would be my maid of honour. I hope she will, if she won't then Paula I'm sure would love to, she's already talking about how she wants to throw my bachlerette party. Matt and I need to visit Grandview soon. Amy told me it was extremely small. Matt and I don't expect to have a very big wedding, but Amy says that wedding she just went to was only like 50-100 people, which is what we were talking about having. And I need to start on the guest list so we can know how big of a venue we want anyway! Course I want to get my mom involved in case I forget some one important! I'm not putting out an open invitation to work because Matt has asked me not to. But I am going to invite people from work I want there! There is only one person Matt has asked me not to invite. I hope she won't be disappointed. Okay, I've blabbed alot today, and I haven't even posted a picture! I do have a picture for you, taken by Matt's mom after his sister's graduation.

I've also got one that I took of Matt on the way home that I am very proud of.

Oh, and anyone who like's Doctor Who, that Bad Wolf episode....oh my...I can't wait until Friday for the season finale, The Parting of Ways, I believe. Goodbye to Christopher Eccleston and hello to David Tennant. I really like Christoper Eccleston and so does my mom. Paula is in love with David Tennant (she is the ultimate fangirl, she downloads the second season episodes being broadcast on BBC overseas). Oh yes, by the way, this is Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor:

And this is David Tennant as the doctor:

Old school Doctor Who fans will recognize Sara Jane and K-9! K-9 was always one of my favorites. This post has taken me all day. That's okay though, I like this post. :) We're watching Shreck 2, so I will post again soon.
