hi there. this series interests me. are you planning on bloggong a post about your thoughts on the series? that would interst me too.

thanks, justin, for your thoughts. i'm learning a lot from the series, but i'm not sure if i'll be able to post a "review" soon. i guess that would be wise/good. i had mostly wanted to use the blog to expose any interested parties to another viewpoint.

there are those such as Rick Warren who say that God had absolutely nothing to do with the tsunamis/their ramifications, and there are those like my pastor and John Piper who assert that God was very much in control and in fact will work His mercy in and through these calamitous circumstances. i believe this latter view is definitely more scripturally-based, and since i posit the Bible as absolute truth, God's inspired Word, relevant and sufficient for us today, then i cannot in good conscience agree with those who say God did not actually send the tsunami - as much as my human understanding would like to be able to rationalize God out of the picture entirely.

i'll see if i have time to write a review. thanks for the suggestion, and thanks for being willing to listen.
