Posted by Clifton at January 9, 2006 10:45 AM | TrackBackThe "New Perspective" on St. Paul - "New" is in quotes, because if it is correct, then it is really the "Old Perspective" on St. Paul, and so the so-called "Old Perspective" is nothing more than a distortion of the truly "Old Perspective" - has fascinated me for months now as I have been delving into the writings of Bishop N.T. Wright. Certainly there are many terms and concepts Wright touches on that may be understood in an Orthodox context, with different terminology. I only wish that Wright emphasized more the divine-human aspects of Christ, working in concert, and what this means for all men. But I suppose that not every theologian can cover every base.
